I'm creating a "how to" in a blog I've yet to write using two unrelated things and creating something else from it. This will become a regular part of the blog experience for me and I hope to do a new project once a month and write about it. Meanwhile, someone beat me to it! The puzzle mural has begun. Lin Schorr has started her magic once again. She's still working on the second mural of swirls but had to wait for some glass to arrive, so decided to start the puzzle piece mural. She is doing a fantastic job. Check out her website when you have the chance. My puzzle piece is in there somewhere and she shows many different views and each puzzle piece by itself as well.

Over 30+ mosaic artists from around the world are coming together via their own unique interpretation of a simple design element…the Swirl.

This colorful collection of 6”x6” mosaic swirls was sent to Lin Schorr from Mixed Media Mosaics to be combined into a beautiful mural. Lin has graciously accepted to take on this challenge and is putting in many, many hours of preparation and hard work. This mural will be combined into a few mosaic art pieces as a community donation project. 'Swirlendipity' will be located at:
St. Johns Providence Park Hospital in Novi, Michigan

We will come to your location with all the necessary materials to conduct beginner classes or private parties. The cost is very reasonable and all supplies, tool and materials are provided. Everything from kids birthday parties, churches, schools, businesses, nursing homes, learning centers and youth centers. Small private sessions or a large group, it does not matter. Mosaics can be fun and easy to learn! No matter what the age or number of folks who want to learn it is educational and can be entertaining for everyone young and old!!!
